How to Train Your Dragon 3 is a computer-animated action-fantasy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and the studio’s first film to be distributed by Universal Pictures, loosely based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell.
It was released on February 1, 2019 in Mexico 20 days earlier than in the United States since its release in the U.S. was moved forward from March 1 to February 22, also in several parts of the world it was released earlier than in the U.S.A. being Australia and New Zealand the first countries where the film could be enjoyed worldwide on January 3, 2019.

From disappointment… to resignation. The ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ trilogy comes to an end with this third installment which, like the second, does not extend the legend of a first film that has now become a relative unfulfilled promise. Little to do with the saga of ‘Toy Story’, to give an example among examples (within the animated film) that hopefully the fourth installment, fingers crossed, will not be loaded in this 2019.
From the disappointment of the 2nd to the resignation of the 3rd without belittling either of the two more than necessary: Resignation is the consequence of what were once expectations, perhaps unfounded; perhaps unrealistic given that DreamWorks Animation has no franchise that has not deflated with each new installment, indeed a pattern of animated film of which the aforementioned ‘Toy Story’ is an exception.

Melendi is the artist in charge of putting rhythm to the third installment of the animated saga How to Train Your Dragon 3 of Dreamworks Animation. It is the first time that the artist from Asturias collaborates in a project of these characteristics.
