On the outside it doesn’t look like that, but inside it is something else, and the pessimism is strong. I admit that this is not a time to launch rockets. This being the panorama, whenever we have wanted to change bad situations for the better, we have always succeeded. I also agree that today there are too many interests (almost always personal), for us to live mostly worried. Although, forgive me for insisting: when we really set our minds to it, we achieve favorable changes, and for everyone.

The application has improved its functionality and usability “being increasingly faster and more intuitive”, and since November subscribers can connect from more than one device at the same time and save content for later reading.

Meanwhile, the head of Sports, Aser Falagán, unveils every week the sports news in ‘Minuto 0’, and the web editors are responsible for selecting the leisure recommendations in ‘Un buen plan’.

Continuing with what was previously mentioned in the other regional media, advertising can greatly condition the user’s experience on the web. Every day the page may present different advertising banners, even if they are not the same in the home page as in the sections. Taking as an example the situation of the website on Sunday 23rd, the home page had no visual noise. On the other hand, when entering the news of some sections, such as “Plans” (see Image 28), the screen presented a very striking advertising that could distract the reader.

This visual pollution from advertising occurs on all Vocento newspapers’ websites. The eradication of this problem is difficult since it would be necessary to do without intrusive advertising that causes oversaturation, but without it, the website would lose the funding it needs so much.
